Shell plans carbon capture project in Canada

Shell has announced plans to build a carbon capture storage project in Alberta, Canada, at the company's Scotford refinery and chemical plant near Edmonton. The Polaris CCS project, which could start operating in the mid-2020s, would capture emissions from the Scotford facility and provide 300 million metric tons of carbon storage.
