Three petrochemical projects are in the works at Thoothukudi, Nagapattinam and Cuddalore in India's Tamil Nadu state, says Thangam Thennarasu, Tamil Nadu's industries minister. Oil refinery and petrochemical complexes will be set up at Thoothukudi and Nagapattinam, while an oil-to-chemical project is planned for a defunct oil refinery at Cuddalore.
