Most refiners shut by Hurricane Ida back online

US Gulf Coast refining capacity is recovering faster than offshore oil production following Hurricane Ida, with six of the nine affected refineries resuming operations, according to a Reuters survey. In contrast, 49% of offshore oil output shut in by Ida was still offline on Sunday, according to the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement.
