Covestro is using pyrolytic technology from Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials' CarboNXT to recycle waste from the composite manufacturing process and turn it into new virgin-like materials for other applications. "Our company has many years of experience in recycling carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastics and has the necessary plant technologies to process such waste," said Tim Rademacker of Mitsubishi Chemical.
