Water Initiative In November 2010, AIChE launched its Water Initiative to advance chemical engineers’ contributions to helping a broad range of industries make the most of the water we have today, without risking tomorrow’s supplies. The initiative will meet the challenges of water quality, security and sustainability through workshops, conferences, webinars and educational outreach, spearheading collaboration and advancing shared technology goals. Donations made towards the AIChE Water Initiative help support activities in our global water efforts. The goal of the AIChE Water Initiative is to become the foremost catalyst in applying chemical engineering expertise in meeting societal needs in the area of water quality, sustainability and security. Donations will help implement workshops and webinars, outreach activities and conference that will serve both as a clearinghouse for information and a network hub for engineers and scientists in the water community.
