Meet Thomas Bronaugh Jr.: 2021 FOSSI Scholar Attending Alabama A&M

December 15, 2021

FOSSI: Tell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Thomas Bronaugh Jr. I attended North Central High School and I am a part of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and The National Honor Society of High School Scholars. I was a three-year varsity starter for football at North Central High School. I graduated with the second highest diploma at North Central High School which was the North Central Academic Honors. In the Fall of 2021, I will be attending THE Alabama A&M University!!

FOSSI: Why is receiving the FOSSI scholarship important for you?

This scholarship would ensure that I would achieve my educational goal of becoming a computer science engineer at Alabama A&M University. Additionally, it would close the gap on the cost it would take for me to stay in school for the duration of my degree program. Moreover, the FOSSI scholarship would be a way for me to follow my passion.

FOSSI: Share a few fun facts about yourself.

I love bowling, fishing, mini-golf, go-karting, listening to music, dancing, and watching TV shows and movies.
