This session will feature two distinguished presentations highlighting active particle functionalization research throughout the world. The first presentation will feature Dr. Jeffrey Elam, Argonne National laboratory, for the application of atomic layer deposition to functionalize particles as catalysts. The second presentation will feature Dr. Guo-Shen Gai, Tsinghua University, who will discuss research in China for engineered particles for functional materials.
