(60b) Introduction to 3D Models

This second session focuses in more specifically on 3D models and outlines the overall process surrounding the construction, execution and application of models. Concepts such as computational domain, initial conditions, boundary conditions, assumptions, post-processing and interpretation of results will be presented. The concept of useful models is discussed and illustrated with relevant examples.
