Process Safety

This session will consist of presentations of applications of process safety in industry and practical solutions that have allowed chemical and petrochemical companies to control their risks and operate in an efficient yet safe manner. Applications of inherently safer design in existing plants, establishment of a safety culture, operational discipline, practical Management of Change (MOC), maintenance of a good mechanical integrity program, and upkeep of a Safety Instrumented System (SIS) are part of the topics that potential presenters should focus on.
