Experiments and Numerical Simulations of Hydrodynamics in Gas-Liquid-Solid Min-/Micro-Fluidized Beds

In this presentation, recent researches on the experiments and numerical simulations of hydrodynamics in the gas-liquid-solid min-/micro-fluidized beds were reviewed. The main contents include experiments minimum fluidization velocity, single bubble behavior and flow regimes in the gas-liquid-solid mini-fluidized beds with single gas orifice, meso-scale modeling in the gas-liquid-solid mini-fluidized beds with multi gas orifices, bed expansion and multi-bubble behavior in the gas-liquid-solid micro-fluidized beds and VOF-DEM numerical simulations of hydrodynamics in the gas-liquid-solid mini-fluidized beds with single gas orifice.
