Designing Industry 4.0 projects for process safety requires understanding the wide spectrum of cyber/physical technologies. This includes Advanced Process Control, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Digital Twins, Machine Learning, Robots /Cobots, and Operational Guidance Systems. Analytics is a major part of this, but which techniques are most appropriate and how do you best ensure success? Developing a strategy to integrate these technologies involves a process which incorporates goals and a methodology for implementation.
Industry 4.0 is well suited for process safety, and there are key benefits for determining the order of deployment. This may vary from company to company depending on goals and based on your companyâs maturity/capabilities. Finally, how do you best scale analytic deployments across the enterprise? This talk will focus on these issues and the factors to consider when developing an overall strategy.
