Dr. Ralph Weiland’s contributions to chemical engineering have been prodigious. Throughout his entire career he has been at the frontier of research in the fields of distillation, absorption and modeling. His company’s ProTreat computer program is now globally well accepted for the simulation of acid gas absorption systems. This presentation will highlight certain articles from Dr. Weiland’s career.
