The IfS/AIChE Water Workshop: Materials, Proceedings, Outcomes

AIChE's Institute for Sustainability (IfS) hosted a water workshop in Cincinnati on August 13, 2009. Over 60 participants attended from industry, universities, water municipalities, professional societies, and government. The goal of the workshop was to provide a forum on the science required to sustainably manage the nation's water resources. Challenges, knowledge gaps, research needs, and means for translating research into sustainable water management were discussed.
