(36b) Thermal Design of a Deep Microchannel Reactor

A deep microchannel reactor (FMR) is a class of microreactor, but it can process a large amount of chemicals. To use it in an industrial scale facility, removal of reaction heat from the reaction channel is one of the key issued to be taken into consideration under design stage. At the University of Tokushima, a project to test the performance of FMR is being carried out. In this project, assessment of heat transfer property of FMR is one of the key topics.

In this presentation, some of the preliminary results from the experimental evaluation of heat exchange property of FMR will be shown.
