Modeling of particle/fluid systems for pharmaceutical applications The session “Crystallization and precipitation processes for pharmaceuticals” welcomes papers on: fundamentals of nucleation and crystal growth, polymorphism, chirality, crystal form and size determination and control, measurements of crystalline particle features and methods for fabricating crystals of controlled form and size, etc. The session “Modeling of particle/fluid systems for pharmaceutical applications” welcomes papers on: CFD simulations for prediction, design and scale-up of crystallizers and precipitators for the pharmaceutical industry, molecular simulations for determining crystal form, and models of processes of fabricating micro- and nano-particles for pulmonary drug delivery, as well as models for separation processes of particle/fluid systems for the pharmaceutical industry.
