Chair(s):
Hwang, H. T., University of Kentucky
Co-chair(s):
Ruiz-Mercado, G. J., U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

This session will cover new research on: 1) Hydrogen from waste biomass through thermochemical routes, 2) Biodiesel, green diesel obtained from vegetable oils/waste cooking oils/FOG through thermochemical routes, 3) Fuels from biomass through liquefaction (e.g., pyrolysis), gasification and their upgrading, 4) Ethanol from biomass through thermochemical routes.
