Refining and Petrochemical Plant Modelling and Operations Improvements
This session covers the application of models to improve operational effectiveness in the process industries, covering refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and upstream production. The applications may be online or offline, and cover such areas as optimization, process monitoring, and fault detection. The modeling approach may be empirical (including neural networks), first principles, or grey box. We particularly encourage contributions which use plant operating data to build models required for operations improvement.
