Fluidization and Fluid-Particle Systems for Energy and Environmental Applications

Chair(s)

Li, F., North Carolina State University

Co-chair(s)

This session is intended to provide a forum to report on the latest advances in fluidization and fluid-particle systems for energy production and/or improving the environmental “friendliness” of existing processes, particularly those targeting sustainability. Specific topics may include, but are not limited to, process intensification, chemical looping, gasification, biomass gasification, biomass conversion, hydrogen production, clean fossil fuel energy conversion systems, liquid fuel production, and carbon capture and sequestration. Papers may report results of experimental investigations or CFD simulation of these various processes.
