Electrochemistry for Applications in Sustainability

Chair(s)

Greenlee, L. F., University of Arkansas

Co-chair(s)

Manthiram, K., Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Foster, S., University of Arkansas
Seitz, L., Northwestern University

This session focuses on investigations and understanding of electrochemistry and electrochemical techniques for environmental applications. Fundamental studies on topics such as aqueous or gas phase sensing of contaminants; degradation, conversion, or removal of target environmental contaminants; and the use of electrochemical techniques to understand environmental processes are encouraged. Fundamental work that focuses on chemical reactions, physical/chemical mechanisms, and/or analytical electrochemistry are also encouraged.
