Single-use centrifuge advances in cell culture processing techniques have evolved from traditional centrifugation and filtration. The Biopharma Industry required improvements in separating CHO batches. It has been demonstrated the single-use Centrifuge will reduce costs in processing CHO. The data in this presentation supports the justification of replacing/reducing the traditional centrifuges/depth filtration with a single-use centrifuge UniFuge®. Both single-use centrifuges, UniFuge® and U2k® are manufactured by Pneumatic Scale Angelus in Clearwater, Florida. This presentation will present case studies of CHO, HEK-Viral vector, and Stem cells processes. The presentation will also compare against the disk centrifuge, and filter. The data demonstrates the UniFuge® as having lower operational costs in processing CHO.
