Tayo Femi-Fowode is a passionate Chemical Engineer with over 10 years of corporate and leadership experience. He is currently a Business Integration Leader for GE Powerâs Monitoring and Diagnostic Center in Atlanta, GA. In his role, Tayo drives digital integration of 5000 monitored turbines, generators and other equipment to minimize downtime, optimize plant performance and save operating cost for more than 950 power plants in 75 countries and serving 350 million people worldwide. Before joining GE Power in 2011, he was Project Manager in the asset management division of Rolls-Royce Energy.
A second-generation Nigerian-American, Tayo holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with concentration in Strategy and Finance. He also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) degrees in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and Prairie View A&M University respectively.
