(200w) Development and Scale-up of a Robust Impinging Jet Process Under GMP Conditions

To address the formation of a problematic dimer impurity in a mixing sensitive reaction network, an impinging jet flow process was developed to be used under GMP conditions. Efficient process development of the robustness of the impinging jet required an intricate understanding of the kinetics, transport phenomena, and analysis of flow patterns within these jets. Rational exploration of these factors enabled us to scale-up this process to process multi-kilogram amount of API.
