Microcontrollers for any Chemical Engineering Course - Student learning and engagement can greatly benefit from hands-on interactive learning and real-world data analysis, both of which are often missing from traditional courses. In this workshop we will show you how to use simple and inexpensive microcontrollers and sensors to create manageable hands-on projects for most any core chemical engineering concept. You will learn how to: 1. use Arduino microcontrollers alone and in conjunction with MATLAB; 2. obtain effective and inexpensive sensors for pressure, temperature, humidity, and more; and 3. execute several proven hands-on teaching modules for chemical engineering concepts.
