(330g) Application of Basic Project Management Skills to Small Scale Gas to Liquid Projects

Management of small gas to fuel projects in impoverished communities is an area of interest in Africa. Several projects do not come to completion due to not so proper project planning and execution. With the goal of producing Project managers who are able to complete such complex projects on time and on budget without sacrificing project quality and professionals preparing to transition into a new career in project management we given special hands on training in small gas to liquid projects. Also a group of professionals without formal training who are managing large, complex projects or smaller, more tactical projects were also given the same aid. The training equipped participants with the principles and practices of disciplined project management while addressing the unique challenges of gas to liquid projects. Participants apply the techniques in a small group setting using a realistic case study. Almost 100% gained a comprehensive overview of the skills, knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage projects.
