Turbulent mixing of internal energy near a solid/fluid interface predicted by the URAPS closure for the normalized Reynolds stress is qualitatively consistent with DNS results for non-isothermal rotating channel flows. At high rotation numbers, the dispersion coefficient in the transverse (cross flow) direction is larger than the dispersion coefficient in the spanwise direction. The longitudinal dispersion coefficient is relatively small compared with the transverse and spanwise dispersion coefficients.
