LOHC are a safe and dense solution of storing hydrogen at ambient conditions. The basis is a reversible chemical reaction of hydrogen with the LOHC. This technology is studied worldwide since 5 years.

Despite the fact that several component pairs (loaded and unloaded form) are able to be a LOHC, the basic process design is known.

The lecture highlights technical applications of this technology. This progress will push the development of a hydrogen-based energy system.
