Authors

Quazi, H. - Presenter, AngelNet Energy, Water and Environmental Systems Inc
"Transformational strategy for achieving smart & sustainable manufacturing in a developing economy requires major changes in the manufacturing architecture. In addition to applying smart technologies and processes, the program needs to involve total life cycle manufacturing process (such as products/process restructuring & integration; supply-chain/logistics efficiency improvement & security; environmental and energy policy realignment and upgrading; market/price restructuring; and plant-personnel human-capital upgrading). The presentation will highlight a case study involving an industrial complex (a chemical plant, a fertilizer plant, a petrochemical plant, and a coal processing plant) along with pollution prevention in two rivers and remediation of a polluted lake."
