(156a) The Prediction of Environmentally Important Properties for Hazardous Chemicals

Authors

Sandler, S. - Presenter, University of Delaware
In this talk the successes in prediction of environmentally important properties of hazardous chemicals using modern computational methods will be viewed. Some of the properties considered are solubility in water, Henryâ??s law constants, octanol-water partition coefficients, and soil-water partition coefficients. The species include industrial chemicals, explosives and chemical warfare agents.
