The presentation will address the criticality in Optimizing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Sustainability. The presenter will focus on HSE issues and Sustainability considering the US and global context. Discussions will analyze Optimization and Optimal Solutions, Regulations and their Enforceability, Technology and their Applicability, and Social and Economic Desirability. The presentation will also address the benefits and limitations of applying Sustainability Standardization such as AIChE Institute of Sustainability’s “Sustainability Index” (SI).
