Authors

Lee, D. - Presenter, University of Pennsylvania

This session is the annual Young Faculty Forum (YFF) for the Education Division of AICHE.  In this session, invited speakers will discuss issues of interest to the advancement and promotion of young faculty and those applying for faculty positions.  This session includes two presentations on developing a successful academic career along with a few presentations from directors of several divisions within the Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems (ENG / CBET) Division of the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The presentations from faculty members include one from a research perspective and one from an educational perspective.  Both of these faculty speakers are established faculty members from US universities.  There will be time at the end of the talks for the NSF speakers to answer any additional audience questions in a break out session.

This particular presentation is from a faculty member with insight into developing a successful research program.
