In project management a major effort goes into becoming a real team!  A team is not just a group of individuals!  It is a very special group of individuals who have worked and learned to become united in their objectives and willingness to work to accomplish those objectives.  This paper will discuss in depth the important principles of people interaction skills needed for people to coalesce into a working unit of synergy.  We will discuss communication, what it means, and how to use it.  We will talk about leading effective team meetings.  We will discuss how to look at issues from other peoples perspectives in order to better understand them and work with them to accomplish objectives.  We will discuss listening and barriers to effective listening.  All of this will go toward developing a new vision of what it means to be an effective and united team and give important meaning to the word "teamwork."
