CGTech has earned an exclusive license from the University of Guelph in this regard for specific bio-resin formulations.. These bio-resins are a first of their kind in the world and have already gained market acceptance as demonstrated by being on the shelves of Home Hardware stores as bio-composite storage bio-bins under the NATURA brand of the customer.

CGTech has market access in both auto and consumer market segments. VW in the auto sector and The Home Depot, Rona and Home Hardware in the consumer products area are market leaders.  CGTech has been engaged by all these companies to develop and market polymer formulations using waste streams of plastic (post-consumer) and Agricultural fibres. For example, working closely with the injection molder, the Uof Guelph, and Home Hardware, bio-resin was compounded and provided to Embee Plastics, Linwood, ON for supply of five different sizes of bio-bins (storage bins) to Home Hardware, as cited above -  meeting the price-performance criteria.

The market potential is huge for this first of its kind technology as can be well –contemplated by anyone who is familiar with this business of the transition to competitive biomaterials to realize a sustainable green future.  CGTech is well-poised to leverage this opportunity.
