Nanomaterials for Thermal-to-Electric Conversion I
More than 80% of current world energy needs are met through fossil fuels and more than 60% of this energy is released to the environment as "waste heat". Recent efforts to convert either solar-thermal or waste heat energy into electricity will be presented here, along with present challenges and opportunities. Invited speakers include: Rachel Segalman, Univ. of California-Berkeley; Akram Boukai, Univ. of Michigan; Yue Wu, Purdue Univ.
