(627c) Dializer Design: An Analytical Asymptotic Criteria

In this contribution, scaling methods developed by BSL for heat transfer applications are adapted to model and obtain asymptotic information about the design and scaling of a multitubular dialyzer. The method yield a relatively simple but helpful solution to quickly determine the size of a dialyzer by knowing the Sherwood number. Details and results of the approach will be presented.
