Chair(s):
Ramarao, B. V., ESPRI, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry
Co-chair(s):
Ramaswamy, S., University of Minnesota

This session will focus on the separation technologies deployed in biorefineries dealing with forest based biomass resources. These will include separation of lignocellulosic extracts, their properties, transport processes involved in the various process steps. Particular interest is in separations of fermentation products resulting from biorefinery operations.
