A variety of bio-nanofibres can be made for applications in energy storage, healthcare, biotechnology, environmental engineering, and in defence and security. This paper will highlight the preparation, properties and applications of electrospun bio-nanofibres. This research is financially supported by Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC)of Canada Discovery Grant.
