Recent data indicate that interest in engineering among high school students has dropped by 33% in the past decade. Since this is the life blood of our discipline it is essential that all aspects of the discipline become engaged with the K-12 system to help reignite an interest in chemical engineering. This session is dedicated to activities seeking to build interactions between faculty and the K-12 system. All types of activities (e.g., teacher enhancements, student workshops, science fairs) are welcome.
