Nanoparticles ? organic, inorganic and organic/inorganic composites - have proven potential for many applications in medicine, environment and energy. However, significant challenges still remain in realizing these applications. In most cases the solutions are sophisticated and there is a need to develop simpler, more practical methods. One of the ways to achieve the desirable complex assemblies is by making use of non-covalent forces or self-assembly. The development of self-assembly based nanoparticles is the motivation of my research.
