(P, rho, T, x) properties of [BMIM][Cl] + water + 1-propanol mixtures were measured at 298 K and 0.08 MPa. This work follows other similar ones to investigate the influence of water and alcohols in the (P, rho, T) properties of ionic liquids at high pressures.

Densities of ternary mixtures were measured by means of a Vibrating Tube Densimeter which is thermorregulated by using a liquid bath. Data obtained with this apparatus have shown to be very accurate when is compared with those obtained by other authors. An open literature searching let us know that there is no information about P-rho-T data for this ternary mixture. Uncertainties of values were estimated as 0.2 kg m-3 for density, 0.03 K for temperature, 0.008 MPa for pressure.
