Modeling and Control of Microchemical and Fuel Cell Systems
In this session we solicit papers reporting on the physicochemical modelling, dynamics and control of all types of microchemical and fuel cell systems. All microchemical systems with characteristic dimensions from tens of microns to a few centimeters and all types of fuel cell systems from individual stacks to balance of plant operations, such as reformers and shift reactors are included. Possible contributions pertaining to these systems can include novel applications of multiscale modelling, systematic methods for conceptual design and optimization, dynamic analysis for disturbance attenuation and feedback structure selection, on- and off-line control. Contributions from industrial groups are encouraged.
