This session encourages the discussion on breakthroughs that have advanced, or will advance, green chemistry and engineering research and application to the new level of sustainability. Both theoretical and practical contributions in all related areas are welcomed, such as environmentally benign design and manufacturing, development of green products, utilization of renewable resources, as well as innovative technologies for reducing energy and resource consumptions while simultaneously promoting economic efficiency.
