(511k) Novel Hybrid System for Air Pollution Control: A New Concept of Wet Scrubber Followed by Bag Filter

Most of the conventional post-treatment systems for treating combustion gases and dusts consist of semi-dry bag filter system, where the normal scrubber cannot be used before this bag filter. In this study, a so-called ?hybrid system? of scrubber followed by bag filter was developed and examined for either technical or economic evaluation. It was noted that the new system has much advantages over the conventional one through some novel technical improvements.
