(468b) Technology Roadmap: Manufacturing

This presentation will review the current and desired state as well as the research needs relating to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. The manufacturing needs of both active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products are included. Research needs encompass information systems to support integrated operations, integration of process analytical technologies, supervisory control, process monitoring and diagnosis as well as continuous improvements in process operations via real time optimization.
