Advances in Environmental Biotechnology II: Waste Remediation

Chair(s)

Coats, E. R., University of Idaho

Biological catalysts have considerable potential to clean and detoxify municipal, industrial, and agricultural effluents, and to remediate releases of environmental contaminants from these sources. Hence, these methods provide environmentally friendly and potentially minimally invasive routes to achieve improved environmental compliance. Papers are sought on fundamental and applied research toward treatment or remediation of municipal, industrial, and agricultural effluents and on bioremediation of contaminants from these sources.
