(189b) Recognition of the 2005 Cache Award for Innovations in Computer-Based Chemical Engineering Education

Professor Peter T. Cummings, Vice President of CACHE Corporation, will introduce the winner of the inaugural CACHE Award for Innovations in Computer-Based Chemical Engineering Education. The intent of this award is recognize recent innovations in the development of computer aids for chemical engineering education. CACHE is particularly interested in honoring the work of younger educators, or educators making new and novel contributions to computer aids for chemical engineering education. Educational innovators working in industry or in a company that develops computer-based educational aids are also eligible for the award. Specifically, the nomination and the citation for the award must refer to a significant contribution to computer-based chemical engineering education within the past five years.
