A task force (TF) consisting of Operating Council (CEOC, CTOC, SIOC) leaders has been formed to fulfill the vision of “100% Parity in the Profession by 2050” by implementing five key lifetime programs to eliminate gender and underrepresented minority disparities.
The current FC officers are members of this TF. Two virtual meetings have been held and action items have been proposed.
The items involving the Fellows connect to the 2021 FC goals of increased nominations of qualified EDI individuals. Also, a video should be commissioned to explain the Fellow selection criteria, the nomination process, and how likely Fellow candidates might become nominated.
In addition, EDI sessions at the Annual Meeting will be highlighted. These ideas will be presented to the Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting.
