Dear Chemical Engineering Colleagues,
We would like to bring to your attention three immediate initiatives of the AIChE Education Division:
1. On Friday, March 20, 2020 at 2:00pm Eastern Time, we will be hosting a webinar on “Effective Practices for Teaching Chemical Engineering Undergraduates Online” given by Sarah Wilson and David Silverstein from the University of Kentucky. Please follow this link to register and attend. (Participants do not have to be AIChE members to register and join.)
2. We are creating “Virtual Communities of Practice” to support professors and instructors who are now teaching their courses online. Please fill out this survey if you are interested in joining a virtual group (currently split by course). We hope for groups of faculty to be connected as early as next week. The survey can be accessed here.
3. We have begun using social media channels to inform our community about these types of events and initiatives. To learn more about future initiatives, please follow us on Twitter at: (@aicheeddiv)
