Erin Kane is president and CEO of AdvanSix Inc., a fully-integrated manufacturer of nylon 6, established in 2016. She was named to lead AdvanSix as it was spun off from Honeywell to become an independent company, following more than a decade of advancing leadership roles.
AdvanSix has more than 1,500 employees at four U.S.-based manufacturing sites, and provides global customers with nylon materials used in carpeting, engineering plastics, and films; fertilizer used to grow high-value crops; and chemicals that serve as building blocks for paints, adhesives, and other formulations.
Kane is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She serves on the boards of directors of the American Chemistry Council and AdvanSix. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Bucknell Univ.
