DuPont adopted a broad set of PSM metrics initially in 2007 to measure and track site/unit level status in a consistent and standardized manner across all global operating locations. These performance measurement processes and leading indicators have been refined and expanded to include additional criteria and focus areas both within each site and at the corporate level.  This presentation will review the current site and corporate metrics, specific challenges and limitations with the use of metrics, and suggestions in order to apply and enhance the use of leading indicators for improved and effective risk management outcomes.
