In the first part of this presentation, (presented by Bryan Hubbell), EPA discusses the current state of multipollutant air quality research with an emphasis on the most policy relevant research. Challenges in conducting and interpreting multipollutant health studies are also discussed, as well as promising new studies.

In the second part (presented by Mike Koerber), EPA discusses multipollutant air quality planning and policies. This presentation discusses the many existing regulatory (and nonregulatory) programs, how they intersect, and how EPA is working with states to harmonize air quality planning.
